Modular Precast Systems Inc. is currently hiring experienced concrete finishers to assist in the fabrication, finishing, repair, and quality control of precast concrete products in a fast-paced shop environment.

Schedule: 30 to 44 hours per week
Wage: 39.00 per hour
Responsibilities and tasks
As a Concrete Finisher with Modular Precast Systems you will:
Inspect formwork, granular base materials, and steel reinforcement before concrete pours to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met.
Fill surface voids, smooth imperfections, and remove rough spots from freshly poured concrete to achieve a clean finish.
Operate power vibrators and other equipment to properly compact concrete.
Level and finish concrete surfaces according to specified instructions.
Use hand and power tools to create the desired concrete finish and surface appearance.
Apply curing, hardening, and sealing compounds to protect and strengthen finished concrete products.
Repair, resurface, and replace damaged or worn concrete sections as needed during production or quality control processes.
Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and production specifications to ensure products are manufactured as per project specifications.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following all company safety procedures and quality standards.
Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production schedules and project deadlines.
Requirements
Language: English.
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in concrete finishing, precastmanufacturing, or construction.
Equipment and machinery experience: Steel-toed safety boots, safety glasses/gogglesand basic hand tools.
