Director, Operational Planning
We are looking for a well experienced Director, Operational Planning for Cleese Catering located at 11
Carlaw Ave suite 14 Toronto, ON M4M 2R6, Canada.

Tasks and Responsibilities:
Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate administrative operations supporting catering services, including client booking administration, event order documentation, purchasing coordination, records management, and internal office procedures.
Develop and implement operational planning systems to support efficient scheduling, order processing, supplier coordination, staffing administration, and delivery of catering services across client locations and event venues.
Direct and advise administrative staff responsible for client records, vendor files, purchasing records, invoices, contracts, employee scheduling documents, and other business administration functions.
Establish and maintain administrative policies and procedures related to event bookings, client communications, deposits, cancellations, dietary requirement documentation, allergen records, supplier records, and internal reporting.
Plan, administer and control budgets for catering-related contracts, equipment, supplies, packaging, rentals, vendor services, and administrative resources.
Coordinate with management, kitchen leadership, event staff, suppliers, and administrative personnel to ensure operational plans are properly documented and implemented.
Monitor administrative workflows and service-planning procedures to identify operational gaps, improve efficiency, and support consistent service delivery for corporate, private, and special-event clients.
Direct and control internal compliance procedures related to business records, workplace policies, food safety documentation, supplier documentation, and applicable administrative requirements.
Prepare reports, summaries, and operational briefs for senior management regarding administrative performance, purchasing needs, staffing requirements, service capacity, and process improvements.
Interview, hire, train, supervise and evaluate administrative and support staff involved in office administration, purchasing coordination, scheduling, records management, and client service administration.
Prerequisites:
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Proven ability to lead operations teams.
Strong knowledge of Canadian workplace health and safety requirements, food safety documentation, purchasing procedures, supplier coordination, and operational planning practices within the catering or hospitality industry.
Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
Experience & Skills: 5 years or more

Hourly Rate: $50.48 per hour for 30 to 40 Hours per week
Starting Date: As soon as possible
Terms of Employment: Fulltime and permanent
