We are seeking a dependable, caring, and responsible Child Care Provider to care for two young boys, ages 3 and 6. The ideal candidate will be patient, attentive, and committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and positive environment for the children.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Supervise and care for two children, ages 3 and 6, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
Plan and engage the children in age-appropriate educational activities, indoor and outdoor play, and creative learning.
Prepare and serve healthy meals and snacks for the children.
Assist with daily routines, including dressing, personal hygiene, handwashing, and toileting as appropriate for each child's age.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for the children.
Help establish consistent routines for meals, playtime, learning, and rest.
Encourage positive behavior, social development, independence, and good manners.
Monitor the children's health, safety, and emotional well-being.
Communicate respectfully with parents regarding the children's daily activities, progress, and any concerns.
Perform child-related housekeeping duties, such as cleaning up toys, washing children's dishes, and keeping play areas tidy.
Qualifications and Requirements
Previous experience in childcare, babysitting, home care, or caregiving is preferred.
Experience caring for young children is an asset.
Knowledge of child safety, hygiene, nutrition, and age-appropriate activities.
First Aid and CPR certification is an asset.
Must be dependable, patient, compassionate, attentive to detail, and trustworthy.
Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with parents in ENGLISH
Ability to provide references upon request.
