About the Role & Duties:
We are seeking reliable professional drivers to join our growing team. In this role, you will safely transport goods across various terrains while maintaining excellent communication with our team. Your core responsibilities will include:
Safe Vehicle Operation: Confidently operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to deliver goods and materials safely to their destinations.
Route Navigation: Utilize mountain driving expertise to safely navigate challenging terrains and weather conditions.
Inspections & Maintenance: Conduct thorough pre-trip, en route, and post-trip vehicle inspections. Monitor the condition of tires, lights, brakes, and cold storage equipment to ensure safety.
Cargo & Log Management: Safely load, unload, and handle goods, including the safe transport of dangerous goods. Accurately record cargo details, fuel consumption, distance traveled, and hours of service.
Dispatch Communication: Maintain open, clear communication with central dispatch to receive and relay important route or delivery updates.
Customer Service Excellence: Deliver polite, professional, and high-quality service when interacting with clients and customers at delivery sites.
Requirements:
Language: English
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent
Experience: 2 to 3 years of commercial driving experience
Credentials: Valid AZ Class License and Air Brakes Endorsement are mandatory
Safety: Must pass a standard drug test. Ability to handle physically demanding work and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Attention to detail is required.
Equipment: Must provide your own steel-toed boots, safety vest, gloves, and a working cellular phone.
