We are seeking an accomplished Watchmaker to join our team and uphold the high standards our clients have come to expect—delivering precision watchmaking, refined finishing, and thoughtful after-sales support.
Role Overview:
-The Watchmaker is responsible for the diagnosis, servicing, refinishing, and quality control of luxury timepieces entrusted to Humbertown Jewellers. This role requires strong technical capability across a wide range of calibers, meticulous attention to detail, and the professionalism to support a client experience defined by confidence, care, and excellence.The ideal candidate is highly organized, calm under pressure, and committed to maintaining the integrity of each timepiece through best-in-class bench practices.

1,450 weekly / 40 hours per week
Education:
-Other trades certificate or diploma or equivalent experience
Experience:
-5 years or more
On site:
-Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
Responsibilities
Tasks:
-Clean all parts using special cleaning and rinsing solutions and ultrasonic or mechanical cleaning machines
-Fabricate or fit parts to make watches and clocks
-Instruct apprentices
-Perform repairs and adjustments on watches and clocks
-Test, adjust and regulate timepiece movements
-Insert battery contents into casing
-Operate, monitor, maintain, calibrate and test equipment
-Fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up
-Organize and maintain inventory
-Estimate repair costs
-Experience and specialization
-Equipment and machinery experience
-Drill presses
-Polishers
