CGS Contractors Ltd. is seeking experienced Tilesetters to join our growing construction team. We specialize in high-quality landscape construction, concrete works, stone installation, terrazzo, and tile installation on commercial, residential, and institutional projects throughout the Greater Toronto Area.

Salary: $36.00–$40.00 per hour (negotiable based on experience)
Hours per week: 30–40 hours per week
Head Office: Woodbridge, ON L4H 3T8
Work Location: Various construction sites across the Greater Toronto Area and surrounding regions. Frequent travel to project locations is required.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, measure, and mark surfaces for tile installation.
Mix, apply, and spread mortar, cement, mastic, adhesives, and grouts using appropriate tools.
Install ceramic, porcelain, natural stone, marble, granite, and mosaic tiles.
Align, level, and straighten tiles to achieve precise finishes.
Cut and fit tiles around corners, fixtures, drains, and openings using manual and power cutting tools.
Install decorative wall, floor, and mosaic tile designs.
Cut, polish, finish, and install marble and granite surfaces.
Mix, install, and polish terrazzo flooring and surfaces.
Install transition strips, edging, and finishing materials.
Remove, repair, and replace cracked or damaged tiles.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Supervise and provide guidance to apprentices and junior installers when required.
Qualifications
Secondary school diploma or equivalent experience.
2 to 3 years of professional tilesetting experience.
Experience installing ceramic, porcelain, marble, granite, terrazzo, or natural stone.
Ability to interpret drawings, layouts, and installation specifications.
Valid Ontario driver's licence.
Willingness to travel regularly between project sites.

Frequently bend, kneel, crouch, and work in various positions.
Maintain a high level of attention to detail while meeting project deadlines.
