We’re seeking a working Executive Chef, a culinary leader who balances management responsibilities with hands-on cooking and team development. You’ll manage the team, develop menus, and maintain high standards across the kitchen.
You’ll be responsible for guiding the team, setting standards, and driving the kitchen forward. You won’t be tied to a station, but you should be comfortable stepping in during service when needed and leading from the front. You’ll build and lead a team you trust, enabling you to balance leadership responsibilities with service when it matters most.
This role is ideal for a chef who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and is ready to take real ownership of a kitchen while being part of a tight-knit, community-driven team

Responsibilities
Tasks
Estimate amount and costs of supplies and food items
Estimate labour costs
Maintain records of food costs, consumption, sales and inventory
Demonstrate new cooking techniques and new equipment to cooking staff
Supervise activities of specialist chefs, chefs, cooks and other kitchen workers
Create new recipes
Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing and presentation of food
Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events such as banquets
Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff
Prepare and cook meals or specialty foods
Requisition food and kitchen supplies
Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities of several restaurants
Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards
Supervise activities of sous-chefs, specialist chefs, chefs and cooks
Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
