Job Summary
LEMAC is seeking an experienced Building Cleaning Supervisor to oversee daily cleaning operations across residential, commercial, and post-construction projects throughout the Greater Toronto Area. The successful candidate will supervise cleaning staff, coordinate schedules, maintain quality standards, ensure workplace safety, and provide excellent customer service while supporting the successful completion of projects.

Wages - $37.10/hourly
Working Hours - 35-40 hours per week
Employment Requirements:
- Completion of Secondary School Required
- 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Supervise, coordinate and schedule the activities of light-duty cleaners, specialized cleaners and janitorial staff.
- Inspect work sites to ensure cleaning quality, safety standards and company procedures are consistently met.
- Conduct regular quality control inspections of completed work.
- Coordinate construction cleaning, final occupancy cleaning, janitorial cleaning and specialty cleaning projects.
- Train, mentor and evaluate new and existing cleaning staff.
- Assign daily work schedules and distribute staff according to project requirements.
- Ensure staff follow company policies, health and safety procedures, and WHMIS requirements.
- Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment and PPE, and arrange replenishment when required.
- Report equipment malfunctions and coordinate repairs or replacement.
- Communicate with property managers, builders, site superintendents and clients regarding project progress and service requirements.
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records including inspections, employee attendance, work schedules and cleaning reports.
- Assist management with estimating labour requirements and coordinating project timelines.
- Ensure projects are completed on schedule while maintaining company quality standards.
- May perform cleaning duties alongside staff during peak workloads or when operationally required.
