Wage Rate: $ 23/hr, 35 hours per week.
Benefits: Relocation expenses & medical insurance for first 3 months covered by employer. Employer will also assist in finding affordable accommodation.

Experience: Previous taxi/driving experience is an asset, but not mandatory

Other requirements: Valid BC Class 4 driver's licence required and a Criminal Record Check
Job Duties:
· Operate a taxi safely and professionally to transport passengers to their requested destinations.
· Pick up passengers from designated locations, taxi stands, businesses, residences, and other locations.
· Assist passengers with entering and exiting the vehicle and with loading or unloading luggage when required.
· Follow designated routes, traffic regulations, and safe driving practices.
· Use GPS, maps, and dispatch systems to determine efficient routes and respond to customer requests.
· Communicate with the company dispatcher regarding passenger pickups, destinations, and vehicle status.
· Collect fares and issue receipts or process electronic payments as required.
· Maintain accurate records of trips, fares, mileage, and other required information.
· Inspect the vehicle before and after shifts and report mechanical problems, damage, or maintenance requirements.
· Keep the taxi clean and presentable and ensure that required safety equipment and documentation are maintained.
· Provide courteous and professional customer service to passengers.
· Comply with all applicable BC, municipal, and company requirements for taxi operation and passenger transportation.
· Report accidents, incidents, customer complaints, or other operational issues to the employer.
