We are looking for Steel Stud Framers who can work independently and lead the team, so if you find yourself a good fit as per the job description/requirements and it sounds interesting to you, you are welcome to apply.
Specific Skills required:
· Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements
· Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
· Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
· Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems
· Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, moldings and hardware
· Schedule and co-ordinate work on sites
· Supervise other workers
· Estimate costs and materials
· Cut materials using power tools or by hand
