(Restaurant Manager)
We are looking for a Restaurant Manager for Habaneros Modern Taco Bar located at 380 Pleasant Street Dartmouth, NS, B2Y 3S5, Canada

JOB DUTIES:
Prepare, complete and post staff work schedules according to operational requirements and ensure adequate staffing during busy periods.
Recruit, train, supervise, reward and terminate staff as required, and monitor employee performance to maintain service standards.
Communicate changes in food preparation procedures, recipes, portion standards and operational requirements to restaurant staff.
Ensure all applicable health, sanitation and food safety requirements are maintained and company safety and security policies are consistently followed.
Maintain and review business and operational records, monitor restaurant performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and increase sales.
Support local and national marketing initiatives and assist in implementing promotional activities to increase customer traffic and restaurant sales.
Identify and contact prospective customers, businesses and community organizations to promote restaurant products, services and sales opportunities.
Plan and coordinate special events, promotional campaigns and other restaurant activities to attract customers and support business growth.
Identify and communicate with new vendors and suppliers for the procurement of food ingredients, raw materials, restaurant supplies and other operational requirements.
Oversee routine banking and financial activities, including paying suppliers and employees, monitoring payments and depositing cash into business accounts.
Address customer complaints and concerns professionally, resolve service-related issues and take appropriate action to maintain customer satisfaction.
Prerequisites:
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Skills: 2 to 3 years of experience in restaurant operations, food service supervision or a related field
Language: English
Hourly Rate: $21.95 per Hour for 30 to 40 Hours per week
Starting Date: As soon as possible
Terms of Employment: Fulltime and permanent
Benefits: 4% Vacation Pay
