(Head Chef)
We are looking for a well-experienced Head Chef for “Chuck’s Roadhouse Bar & Grill” located at 370 Kent St W, Unit 70-A, Lindsay, ON K9V 4T7, Canada.

Tasks and Responsibilities:
Plan, organize and supervise daily kitchen operations to ensure efficient preparation and timely service of restaurant menu items.
Prepare and oversee the cooking of steaks, ribs, burgers, chicken, seafood, pasta, appetizers and other roadhouse-style dishes according to established recipes and quality standards.
Supervise, train and coordinate cooks and other kitchen staff, assign duties and monitor performance during food preparation and service.
Monitor food quality, portion sizes, cooking methods and presentation to ensure consistency and compliance with established restaurant standards.
Coordinate kitchen preparation and workflow for lunch, dinner, weekends and other high-volume service periods to ensure customer orders are completed efficiently.
Monitor food inventory, determine ingredient and supply requirements and coordinate ordering to maintain adequate stock while minimizing waste.
Ensure proper food handling, storage, temperature control, sanitation and workplace safety procedures are consistently followed throughout kitchen operations.
Inspect ingredients, food preparation areas and finished dishes to ensure freshness, quality and compliance with restaurant requirements.
Maintain food production and kitchen records, monitor food costs and implement appropriate measures to improve efficiency and control kitchen expenses.
Maintain an organized and professional kitchen environment and coordinate with restaurant management and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth food service operations.
Prerequisites:
Education: College degree or equivalent.
Experience & Skills: 5 years or more of experience in professional cooking, kitchen operations or a related field, including experience supervising kitchen staff.
Language: English
Annual Salary: $55,000 to $65,000 per year for 30 to 40 Hours per week
Starting Date: As soon as possible
Terms of Employment: Fulltime and permanent
Work Location: On site
