(Catering Service Manager)
We are looking for a well-experienced Catering Service Manager for Cheese Boutique, located at 45 Ripley Avenue, Toronto, ON M6S 3P2, Canada.

JOB DUTIES:
Plan, organize and oversee daily catering operations, including customer orders, food preparation, packaging, delivery coordination and event-service requirements.
Meet with clients to discuss catering needs, menu selections, quantities, dietary requirements, delivery schedules and other service arrangements.
Coordinate with kitchen, prepared-food, bakery, cheese, deli and retail departments to ensure catering orders are completed accurately and on time.
Supervise catering and food-service staff, assign duties, establish work schedules, monitor performance and provide training on service, food handling and operational procedures.
Review catering orders and upcoming events to determine staffing, food, equipment, packaging and transportation requirements.
Monitor inventory of food, beverages, serving supplies and catering materials and coordinate purchasing or replenishment requirements with suppliers and internal departments.
Monitor food and labour costs, portioning, waste and other operating expenses to support efficient and profitable catering operations.
Ensure catering foods are prepared, packaged, stored, transported and served in accordance with food-safety, sanitation and quality standards.
Coordinate corporate orders, private functions, seasonal events, gift baskets and other specialty catering requirements offered through Cheese Boutique.
Maintain catering records, client information, order details, invoices and event-related documentation and ensure accurate communication between departments.
Address client requests, complaints, order changes and service issues professionally and implement appropriate solutions to maintain customer satisfaction.
Develop and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers and support opportunities to expand catering and specialty food-service business.
Prerequisites:
Education: College/CEGEP or equivalent experience
Experience & Skills: 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant catering, food service or hospitality management experience
Language: English
Hourly Wage: $37.00 per hour for 30 to 40 hours per week
Starting Date: As soon as possible
Terms of Employment: Full-time and permanent
Benefits: 4% Vacation Pay
