We are looking for well-experienced Cook for Pazzo Pizzeria, located at 70 Ontario St, Stratford, ON N5A 3H2, Canada.

JOB DUTIES:
Prepare and cook menu items for Pazzo Pizzeria and Café Bouffon in accordance with established recipes, portioning and presentation standards.
Prepare Italian and French-inspired dishes, including pizzas, fresh pasta, sauces, appetizers, salads, sandwiches, meat, seafood, vegetable dishes and other menu items.
Prepare food for dine-in, takeout, group dining and catering orders while ensuring orders are completed accurately and within required service times.
Set up and maintain assigned kitchen stations with required ingredients, food products, utensils and equipment before and during service.
Prepare ingredients by washing, cutting, portioning, marinating and performing other mise-en-place duties required for daily service.
Monitor food quality, freshness, taste, temperature and presentation before dishes are served to customers.
accommodate customer dietary requirements and special menu requests according to established kitchen procedures.
Maintain adequate stock at assigned stations and communicate ingredient or supply shortages to kitchen supervisors.
Properly receive, store, label and rotate food products to maintain freshness and minimize waste.
Assist in training and guiding kitchen helpers and junior staff in food preparation and kitchen procedures.
Clean and maintain cooking equipment, preparation surfaces, storage areas and kitchen stations in accordance with food-safety and sanitation standards.
Coordinate with other cooks and kitchen staff to maintain efficient workflow during busy lunch, dinner, brunch and catering service periods.
Prerequisites:
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience & Skills: 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant cooking experience
Language: English
Hourly Rate: $22 per hour for 30 to 40 hours per week
Starting Date: As soon as possible
Terms of Employment: Full-time and permanent
Benefits: 4% Vacation Pay
