Location: Various location in the Lower Mainland as per business contracts, business address is 32083 Hillcrest Avenue suite 122, Abbotsford, BC- V2T 1S3
Salary: $ 39 hourly / 30-40 hours per week
Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time
Early morning, Shift, evening, Day, Overtime available
Starts as soon as possible
Vacancies: 2 vacancies
Requirements:
Languages: Basic English
Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
Experience: 1-2 years of previous experience in the related field is required
On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
Work site environment: Outdoors, At heights, Dusty
Responsibilities/Duties
As a Welder, job duties include:
Ø Welding metals such as iron, steel, copper and whichever being used at the worksites.
Ø Repairing and maintaining welding machines at the worksites.
Ø Reading and interpreting blueprints of the projects and of welding requirements.
Ø Bending, straightening, and moulding metals according to requirements of the projected work at the worksite.
Ø Assisting other workers on the worksite and following the directions of the Supervisor Operating manual, semi-manual and automatic welding equipment, or machines.
Ø Soldering and brazing metals.
Ø Constant bending, sitting, and standing for extended periods of time according to the work requirements.
