Position: Shift Co-ordinator
Employer: EBCO Products Ltd. o/a Burger King
Work Location: 371 Trans-Canada Hwy, Duncan, BC, V9L 3R5
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time
Wage: $20.15/hr based on 30-36 hr/wk
Overtime: Overtime will be paid after 8 hrs/day, or 40 hrs/week
Benefit: 4% paid vacation and extended health care plan

Language: English
Education: Completion of Secondary school
Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience in related fields or completion of a college program in food service administration, hotel and restaurant management or related discipline
Job Duties:
- Manage daily operations during assigned shifts, including opening, closing, and establishing daily methods to meet work schedules
- Instruct and train staff in their job responsibilities, as well as hygiene and safety protocols
- Oversee food preparation to ensure portions and quality service meet standards of quality control
- Lead by example with a positive attitude, promoting teamwork and smooth production to ensure clean, speedy and friendly service
- Handle and address customers’ concerns and resolve complaints in a timely, friendly and professional manner
- Complete the end of shift/end of day stock check, highlighting discrepancies as necessary
- Assist management with hiring new staff and supporting the creation of policies, procedures, and budgets
