Seoul Country Korean Restaurant is looking for an experienced and passionate Chef to lead our kitchen in the heart of beautiful Banff, Alberta!

Wage: $39.00-42.00 per hour
Work hour: Minimum 30 hours/week
Terms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent
Start Date: As soon as possible
Duties and Responsibilities
Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards.
Estimate food requirements and food and labour costs.
Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty Korean dishes.
Supervise and coordinate the activities of cooks and other kitchen staff.
Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of food.
Create new recipes and develop seasonal and specialty menu items.
Order food, supplies, and kitchen equipment, and maintain inventory.
Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
Train kitchen staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
Requirements
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as a cook or chef in a commercial kitchen is required. Experience with Korean cuisine is an asset. (Not mandatory.)
Education: High school graduation required. Culinary training or Red Seal certification is an asset.
Leadership: Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills to manage a kitchen team effectively.
Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure.
Language: Ability to communicate in English.
